Philippe Sereys de Rothschild appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Baron Philippe de Rothschild

On October 18th 2014, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, of which he had been Vice-Chairman since 2006.

He succeeds his mother, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, who died on August 22nd.

A graduate of Harvard Business School, the new Chairman, 51, previously worked as a senior executive in companies specialising in energy, the environment and high technology.

He said that he would work closely with his immediate family, the Executive Committee and the existing staff. He would continue to develop the famous Bordeaux wine company, remaining true to the achievements of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, a leading figure in the wine world.
