Château Mouton Rothschild on display in the Exquisite store at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

Exquisite, the luxury goods store at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, has revealed its new window display featuring Château Mouton Rothschild, which will run until early April 2015.

For two months, travellers using the terminal at Amsterdam Schiphol serving Asian destinations will be able to admire the exclusive brand-new display. The idea has its origins in the wish to celebrate the Chinese New Year under the sign of the ram with Château Mouton Rothschild. A prestigious location has been chosen in Amsterdam’s airport, one of Europe’s busiest with many daily flights to China.

The entire Exquisite store has been decorated with images of Château Mouton Rothschild and the ram motif. Dummy bottles are presented on several in-store displays, but the centrepiece is the main display window. A gilded brass ram reigns in the centre, surrounded by a jeroboam of the 2000 vintage showing the Augsburg Ram and four labels illustrating the Mouton Rothschild emblem, by Chinese artists Gu Gan (1966) and Xu Lei (2008), Jeff Koons (2010) and Miquel Barceló (2012).

A video presenting Château Mouton Rothschild is shown on a flat screen at the entry to the store. A second display highlights three jeroboams of the 1982, 1998 and 2006 vintages. The displays are in the image of Château Mouton Rothschild, with its distinctive black and gold colours, and use high-quality materials such as brass and leather.

Travellers who stop by the Exquisite store and wish to purchase bottles of Château Mouton Rothschild can choose from a wide range of vintages, including 1982, 1995, 2000 and 2011. Other Rothschild wines also on sale include Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 1998, 2008 and 2011, the 2011 vintage of Aile d’Argent, Château Clerc Milon and Château d’Armailhac, and Barons de Rothschild champagnes.
